Allow us to introduce ourselves! We are a German couple - Chrissy and Ralf - who embarked on an adventurous journey in 2017. After living and working in the bustling Hong Kong for a few years, we decided to build our own Land Rover Defender expedition vehicle. With it, we explored eight countries across Southern and Eastern Africa, fueled by our love for Africa, nature and exploration.

In search of a tranquil haven with access to untouched wilderness, we found the perfect mix on the island of Sal. Here, you can discover the convenience of some modern comforts while still being immersed in pristine nature. As experienced scuba divers and avid shark enthusiasts, we are always on the lookout for new underwater adventures.

On land, our passion for hiking has taken us to remarkable heights, including conquering Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Our dog is our constant companion in our outdoor pursuits, and we spend as much time in nature as possible.
